  • July 20 – Greenways & Trails Council Meeting in Springfield at 10:30 a.m.
  • July 24 – Make A Wish Foundation of Illinois 10 Mile Bike Ride, 5K Fun Run/Walk & Children’s Parade
  • July 31 – Chase the Moon bike ride sponsored by The Conservation Foundation.  Pre-Party begins at 10:00 p.m. with ride to start at midnight.  See www.chasethemoon.com for more.

  • Sept. 24 – Biking Walking Skating Event on Illinois Prairie Path. http://illinois.sierraclub.org/rpg
  • October 2-5 – MATAG Mid-American Trails & Greenways will be held in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
  • October 15 – Harvest Fest in Belvidere.  Enter a scarecrow, wine tasting or Bike the Path.
